The Captain's Pyre

Captain Edward Mercer and his crew make haste on a general merchant run to deliver supplies, but the Captain must grapple with his sense of reality and remove himself from the burden of his past lest he endanger his crew.

This is a University project made in about 12 weeks and is my final solo one. It was to investigate how video games create a feeling of dread effectively which I think I might have done to a decent standard. Hope you enjoy this short story! Also attached is the dialogue story I wrote in Twine to help write the narrative.
